A solid start and good defense gets the yankees win #2. Chris Chacon fans nine in win against the Hondos who  put up a good battle. But in the end the battle was won by the Manitou Yankees.

While the yankees ace dominated they fell short to the Bombers.

 

Chris Chacon baffled the Bombers keeping them hitless through five.Striking out almost every batter if not a strike out a lazy pop up or rountine ground ball. The Bombers were frustrated but never gave up and took advantage of the walks and had timely hitting. We had them beat and they knew it and I think everybody in the stands knew it we could just not close the deal. We will see them again and this time we wil seal the deal early.
