Las Vegas and Atlantic City Prepare for NABA Invasion |
Memorial Weekend Tournaments, Atlantic City and Las Vegas As you may already know hosts two very popular NABA Tournaments over the Memorial Weekend. Please view the National website tournament list for all the tournaments for 2009. http://www.dugout.org/dugout/tournaments/

There will be no games scheduled on Sunday May 24. The NABA is hosting a tournament in Las Vegas, good luck to all our teams who will be playing.
However there are a few teams asking to play Sunday. If you are interested please let us know and we will do our best to get you a regular game. |

Las Vegas Results |

Thank you to all the teams who went to the show in Las Vegas.
So far it sounds like everyone had a great time. Be sure to spread the word on the fun you guys had. Below are the results of the championship games. You can also go to the National Website at www.dugout.org for all results and to plan the next tournament you may like to attend.
Remember you can also go on the player-pool as an individual if your team is unable to go. Don't miss out on Phoenix. All games are played on the Spring Training Facilities of Professional Baseball Teams; Angels, Brewers, Padres, Mariners, Giants, Royals and others.

Over the Line League |
The Over the Line League is scheduled to start on Wednesday evening June 17. This game is a 6 man game with a pitcher, a catcher, 2 infielders and 2 outfielders. You can have up to a 10 man roster if you like. Game times will be 5:30pm & 6:45pm.
The idea of this is to have an hour long workout playing baseball. the only thing you will not do is run the bases. If you have a group of 6 guys who want to play baseball (Over the Line) every Wednesday night for up to 10 weeks please contact the league office.
This is the first of its' kind in a league format. Many of you have played over the line at the park with your friends. This will be one step above. Don't miss the fun!

Sunday July 5 Games |
Gentlemen:
There are games scheduled for Sunday July 5th. This was announced as a play date at the beginning of the season. If your team is unable to play please let the league office know so umpires can be canceled.
Please do check back to your schedule in case of any issues that may arise. If there are any changes after tomorrow (Thursday) or any other issues with your game you will get a call or e-mail directly.
Please check and make sure if you are not able to play this Sunday July 5th that your team is off the board. if you still see your team on the schedule make sure you call, text or e-mail the league office so the change can be made. Please do so as any games canceled after today are going to reflect a forfeit.

2009 NABA So Cal All-Star Games |
Your 2009 NABA So Cal All-Star Games will be held on August 1, 2009 at Jay Littleton Ballpark. Your teams allotments will be sent to the manager's soon. Teams in first, second and third places at the conclusion of today July 12 are the manager's & coaches of the all-star teams.
Itinerary for the day will be:
8am- Home-Run Derby #1
9am- First Game
11:45am- Home-Run Derby #2
1pm- Second Game
3:45pm- Home-Run Derby #3
5pm- Third Game
Once again your manager will receive the number of players he is allowed to send to the game. Each team is asked to vote for its' own All-Stars. |

2009 NABA So Cal All-Star Game Day |
Gentlemen:
As you already know our All-Star Game Day is this Saturday August 1st. Please see the itinerary for the day.
When: Saturday August 1st
Where: Jay Littleton Ballpark in Ontario, located at 4th & Grove
off the 10 freeway.
Itinerary & Game Times are;
* 8am- Home-Run Derby #1
* 9am- Game #1, 18AA vs 18A Odd # Teams
* 11:45am- Home-Run Derby #2
* 12:45pm- Game #2, 18AAA Even vs 18AAA Odd
* 3:30pm- Home-Run Derby #3
* 4:30pm- Game #3, 18A Even # Teams vs Rookie
The Home-Run Derby is always a favorite and is open to all NABA So Cal Members. To enter the Derby there is a $10.00 charge. Please supply your own pitcher. You will get 10 pitches.
Managers, make sure you bring your gear for the game. Also make sure you have turned in your all-star players names and positions to the league office.
Lastly as we have done the last few years each player will cover the attendance of the fans at $5.00 from each player. That is turned in to the manager of the team. Please make sure all the players know about this.
This has always been one of the best days of the year. There will be a concession stand with hot dogs, snow cones, soda and water. The concession stand is being run by the Norco HS Band Boosters.

Gentlemen:
A reminder that with tomorrow being the last game of the season
we want to first of all thank you for for being a part of the NABA
family. Remember that this fraternity of baseball you are
connected with thousands of players who play NABA every
Sunday.
REMINDER:
As mentioned at the All-Star Game Day the NABA is asking you
to make a donation (no matter the amount) if you can to help
the families of those who have passed away this season;
Chris Granger, Garrett Dandini and Brandon Villalobos . Just
give your donation to your manager tomorrow (Sunday.) We will
collect that donation from your manager at the Fall meeting. And
give it to the families.
One last time thank you and we look forward to working with you
in the 2009 Season. We have some exciting news which will be

Tryouts for the 2009 Fall Season |
Tryouts for the 2009 Fall League. Tryouts are for individuals to get on a team. You can also start a new team or bring your team into the league.
Sunday August 16, 10am at The Oaks at Saboba (this tryout is for individuals and teams who will be playing from Moreno Valley East)
Sunday August 23, 8am at Jay Littleton Ballpark in Ontario (this tryout is for all other areas.)
There is a $5.00 tryout fee. Bring a glove, bats will be provided but you can bring your own. If you are a catcher please bring your gear.
