Pirates get first win of 2008

The Pirates come from behind by scoring six runs in the bottom of the eighth to beat the Phillies 7 to 6.Held at bay for most the game the Pirates broke thru in the eighth with six runs as eyeryone chipped in with a walk or base hits.The winning run was knocked in by an RBI single by Andy Fernandez and Frank Lozada pitched great for seven plus innings keeeping the Phillies off the board after a shaky first inning.The Pirates get thier first win of 2008.

Pirates win second

Pirates bite DBacks 11-1

Frank Lozada gave up only three hits and one run in seven strong innings to pick up his second win of the season.Dean Poulin and John watson each had a double and two RBI with Andy Fernandez chipping with three hits en route to the Pirates pounding the Delco DBacks 11 to one.The Pirates start the season with two wins and some hot pitching and timly hitting.
