River Rats beat SJ Pirates 13-1 on 5/18/08

Francisco Mendoza once again took the mound and pitched a stellar game for the River Rats. Tomas earned the victory pitching an impressive no-hitter through 7 innings, striking out a season high 15 batters, and allowed 1 unearned run.

 

The River Rats offense was once again fired by Jose Ortega who went 3 for 4, with a Home Run, 2 runs scored and 4 RBI’s.

 

Other offensive contributions were Joan Heredia who hit a Home Run and drove in 2 runs, and Willie Ureña who went 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored.
