Opening Day Success!
Congrats to the Phillies for starting the 08 season with a win. The win came as a result of dominant pitching and some timely hitting. Starting Pitcher K. White went six strong innings before surrendering a hit in the top of the seventh. Keith went 7 innings striking out 6 and giving up 1 un-earned run. Don White came in as relief going 2 innings striking out 4. And at the plate the Phillies had 5 hitters with a multi-hit game. They were Derrick Gaul, Denny Gaul, John Shields, Brian Connolly and Don White. The Moorestown Phillies will be back in action next Sunday at 1pm at Moorestown High School. Try to be there at 12pm.

2-0
The Phillies move to 2-0 after a huge offensive performance and great pitching. Don White shut the Dodgers down only allowing 1 hit, striking out 4. The Phillies offense came to life in the fifth inning when they batted around and scored 6 runs. The final score was 10-0. The Phillies will be back in action next week against Wood Lanes at Moorestown H.S. Be at the field by 12pm.

3-0
Another good win for the Phillies. This one came as a bit of defense struggle as the Phillies kept the Wood Lanes off the bases with some solid defensive plays and another great week of pitching. The final score was 7-1. After three weeks the Phillies pitching has only allowed 1 earned run. We have a week off before taking on the Woodbury Heights at their field.

Well Phillies that isnt a fun way to get a win. We would have loved to beat them bad straight up but we will take it. Even guys on their team didnt want to face us as they told us on the field. So lets get ready for the Giants in two weeks and ill get us a practice or two by then. Have a great Memorial day weekend

Well Guys we get another win in the colomn..Not the a fun way to do it , but they didn t want us. Even some players on their team didnt want to play and wanted to give us the game. We can t have anymore of that Bull even though their team was instigating too.  So lets focus on the Giants and get some practicing in within the next two weeks. Stay focused

Eight is the Magic #
Congrats guys for accomplishing something that may have never happen before in this league. The Phillies pulled out a win with only eight players. Not only a win but a win with a 12 run margin. We are back at next week at Moorestown H.S. I believe Ryan is getting a practice together for mid week so stay in touch with him.
Be at Moorestown next week by 12 pm.
