LIONS OPEN UP AT HOME
The 2008 Season marks the  Logan Township Lions' 5th year Anniversary. 
The Lions open at Home against the GC Diamondbacks on Sunday, April 20th @ 9:00 AM.
 
Steve Bomhoff will take the mound for the Home Opener.

MAGERR'S  2 HITS AND 2 RBI HELP LEAD THE LIONS PAST THE GC D-BACKS.
"New Lions" come through.
Mark Wilgus had a key 2 out, 2 RBI single.  Wilgus also scored two runs.
 
Mike DiMarzio got everthing started out of the lead-off spot getting on base and scoring two runs.
 
Brent Wylie hit one off of the BIG GREEN MONSTER and settled for a single.  He later scored.
 
Andy Maduro had to step in to replace Jason Collings who pulled a "hammy" and went 1 for 1 with a key walk with the bases loaded to give the Lions the eventual winning run.
 
Solid performances from the veterans, Fran Montone, Rich Wolf, Scott Guzman and Chris Carey set the tone for Lions.
 
An impressive combined effort from Steve Bomhoff and Lou Ayars held the D-Backs off for a 7 - 6 Lions victory.
 
The Lions travel to Haddon Heights to face the Volcanoes on the 27th.

Joe DiMeo agreed to terms today to rejoin the LIONS
After a breif stint with the Marlton Athletics of the MSBL, Joe DiMeo decided to return to the Logan Towsnhip Lions.
 
Joe will suit up for the Lions this Sunday against the Haddon Heights Volcanoes.

Franny Montone had 3 hits and 3 RBI's to lead the Lions to a 13-4 victory over the Legends.  Brent Wylie pitched 5 innings to pick up the win for the now 3-1 Lions
