Tampa Blazers win the Summer 2008 Tampa NABA Championships!
|
Congratulations to the Tampa Blazers for winning our inaugural summer season with a 10-1 win over the Tampa Bullets.
The Blazers Pitching staff shut down an expolsive offense in the Bullets and showed how well their bats worked as well giving up 1 run in the 1st inning and scoring 10 total runs throughout the game. These two teams will be constantly battling as the seasons continue and I look forward to seeing more.
I want to thank EVERYONE who participated this season and for all the help in making this summer one of the best I've ever had and I am so much looking forward to doing more and more. Special thanks to Jim, Bubba and Amanda Thompson for the help with Northside Little League and for letting us use their Field!! Another to Doug Wycoff for supplying our Umpires who did a great job and for umping our Championship as well.
Fall tryouts/draft is THIS SUNDAY!! 9\14 at Northside Field 9am!! (please get there early to warm up). Directions are on this site and I will be more than happy to help if need be by emailing me below. If you have not signed up....TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!!!! Manager's meeting tomorrow 9\10 730 pm Tampa Ale House (Come out if you are interested)
Sept 28th is Opening Day see you guys at the draft!
