Opening Day 2008

Attention all players.  Opening Day 2008 is just around the corner.  June 3rd at Friendship Park in Lake Orion, the Oakland County Baseball Association will begin its first season.  If you are still interested in playing, it's not too late to sign up.  Only $100 per player before May 6.  Contact league president Mitch May at oaklandbaseballleague@yahoo.com for more information.

OPENING DAY '08

It's finally here!  Opening Day 2008, and the inaugural season of The Oakland County Baseball Season will be underway.  Games 1 and 2 of opening day will be played at Friendship park with a doubleheader between the Tigers and A's.  Opening Day will be capped off with a night game at Rochester High School between Cactus Jack's and the Giants.  Get ready everyone because the '08 season is here. 

 

It's here everyone, the 2008 season of the Oakland County Baseball Association has begun.  Opening Day was June 3, and The Rochester Athletics defeated the Rochester Tigers in the morning game.  Jeff Warburton got the win for the A's while absolutely shutting down the Tigers.  The night game however was postponed due to rain.  The game between Cactus Jack's and the Rochester Giants will be rescheduled for a later date.  Get ready for a great year everyone.
